Purpose

• Reka is an organisation that supports social tourism and the promotion of holidays, travel and leisure-time activities, above all in Switzerland. It targets the needs of those sectors of the population with limited financial means.

• Within this framework, Reka's core business is the issuance of payment instruments and the provision of holiday offerings.

• Reka takes the necessary steps to ensure its competitiveness and hence its long-term existence in accordance with free-market, ecological and social principles.
   

Activities

Reka's activities cover the following:

• Issue of Reka-Checks and other payment instruments.

• Provision of holiday offerings, primarily for families. 

• Provision of holiday assistance for economically disadvantaged groups, in particular families.

• Investment of credit balances from non-redeemed Reka payment instruments.
