There are many low-income families and single parents with children living in Switzerland, who can scarcely afford holidays. Since its founding in 1939, the Reka Swiss Travel Fund's goal has been to assist these people so that they can take holidays and make the most of their leisure time.

Reka payment instruments – everyone benefits

Reka payment instruments, the key business driver of the Reka organisation, are widely known among the Swiss population. Over two million people in Switzerland use Reka money. Reka-Checks, Reka-Card and Reka Rail are among the most popular fringe benefits offered by employers in Switzerland. Reka uses the income that it earns from these activities to finance the bulk of its holiday assistance scheme, for example in the form of free holidays for low-income families.
