The Urnäsch Reka Holiday Village won the First Prize of CHF 5,000.- awarded in 2009 by the Swiss Working Group for Mountain Regions (SAB) which distinguishes innovative projects in mountain areas. The award highlights successful symbiosis between rural economy and tourism and the respectful use of local resources (wood, energy, building land, etc.)
