The first big step has been taken in conversion of the local tourist development concept at Luzein/Pany-St. Antönien: On 20 June, 2011, the Play Trail was inaugurated at the Reka Holiday Village in Pany. The main attraction is a 200 meter long ball track with different play stations. In the community area and its basement children will find yet more games possibilities, all linked with the local countryside and culture of Prättigau. Three friendly animal characters accompany the children along the Play Trail.
The concept will be extended to the village and region during summer 2012, for example the playground at the Pany swimming pool will be enlarged and a games adventure path will be set out along the walk to St. Antönien. The Reka is investing CHF 1 million altogether in this new tourism concept. CHF 800,000.- are earmarked for the Play Trail in the Reka Holiday Village, in the actual village of Pany and in the surrounding area, and a further CHF 200,000.- will be set aside for renovation work in the Holiday Village.
