The facility
This camping village is located in the heart of the Maremma, just a few kilometers from Etruscan towns of art-historical interest and close to the sea. Pitches, tents, lodge tents and bungalows are spread over an area of 70,000 m² with lush trees. You first have to walk a short distance along a road before a naturally winding path leads you through a pine forest from the camping village to the beach. There are 105 bungalows in the spacious, green, fenced and car-free complex. The bungalows are all made of heat-insulating brickwork and are close together. Reception, supermarket, bar, restaurant, various stores, medical service (July/August), customer laundry (for a fee), parking lot. Wi-Fi (free of charge).
Location: 6 km from Castiglione della Pescaia and 10 km from Punta Ala. Quiet location, 600 m from the sea. Car required.
Services: Half board and full board possible (reservation and payment on site).
Bathing: 600 m to the public gently sloping sandy beach. Swimming pool (200 m², not heated) with 2 hydromassage pools (open mid-April to mid-October, depending on the weather). For a fee: sun loungers and parasols on the beach and by the pool (limited number), Turkish bath.
Family-friendly: entertainment (June to August), mini club 5 to 12 years (mid-May to early September), playground, plenty of space to play.
Leisure/sports: table tennis, fitness area. For a fee: tennis court, football, bike rental. On the beach for a fee: rental of canoes, pedalos and stand-up paddles.

Im Grossen und Ganzen hat es uns sehr gut gefallen.
Schöner Strand. Grosszügige Anlage. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir freundliche empfangen und informiert, es fehlte einzig der Hinweis, dass der Strom mit dem Schlüsselanhänger angeschaltet werden muss! Das Bungalow hat uns gefallen, in der Küche fehlten uns eine Kelle, ein Schneidebrett und ein Pfannendeckel, sonst tiptop - Die Klimaanlage des gegenüberliegenden Hauses war sehr laut - Unser Bungalow stand gleich neben dem Campingplatz, es hatte dort viele Hunde und daher oft viel Hundegebell

Familienurlaub in der Toskana
Grundsätzlich schöne Campinganlage. Meer/Strand ist ca. 10 min zu Fuss entfernt beim Nachbarcampingplatz. Das Personal der Reception war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schöner Strand, sauberes Wasser. Nachteilig war, dass die Liegestühle am Pool 2 EUR kosten und trotzdem schon am Vormittag reserviert und erst später dann von den Gästen benutzt werden. Wenn man keine Liege hatte, gab es wenig freie, schattige Flächen um sich am Pool hinzulegen. Die Liegen am Strand kosten auch 30 EUR pro Tag (zwei Liegen und einen Sonnenschirm).

Heutzutage ist eine Klimaanlage ein muss, vorallem bei beinahe CHF 3000.00 pro Bungalow für 14 Tage. Das Sofa resp. zweite Bett war eine Zumutung, meine Mutter hat immer noch Rückenschmerzen. Die Matratze war alles andere als bequem.

Tres sympa ! Manquait des infos pour visiter la région. Beaucoup d’activités et d’ambiance enfants mais très peu pour ados ou adultes ! Manquait souvent du papier aux toilettes femmes.

Directions
By car: From Chiasso take the A9 and A1 freeways to Parma, then take the A15 towards Cisa Pass. Before reaching Spezia take the A12 direction Livorno/Firenze and continue to the end of the freeway at Rosignano-M.. Change to the Superstrada Aurelia. Exit at Follonica-Nord. Follow the national road until the 1st fork on the right towards the center of Follonica. Follow the signs Castiglione d. Pescaia S.S.322. In Castiglione d. Pescaia follow direction Località Rocchette, the Camping Village Rocchette is signposted.
